ABOUT THE SYSTEM

The Del Rio High School system began generating power on July 25, 1999.  The system is rated at 4 kilowatts.

ABOUT DEL RIO

San Felipe del Rio the original name of Del Rio was settled in 1635 by Spanish missionaries. Since then, this area has seen Indian attacks, the coming of the railroads, Judge Roy Bean and the Law West of the Pecos, Wolfman Jack, the Cuban Missile Crisis and NAFTA. This area is steeped in history.
